Taylor Lindell-MFT Student Therapist

I am an MFT (Marriage and Family Therapy) student intern at Touro University Worldwide, with a strong background in education as a high school teacher. This experience has given me a unique perspective on the challenges teens face both inside and outside the classroom. Currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am gaining valuable clinical experience under the supervision of licensed professionals, focusing on supporting teens and their families through life’s most challenging moments.

Having worked closely with adolescents in an academic setting, I understand the emotional, social, and behavioral hurdles that can arise during the teen years. From issues like academic pressure, peer relationships, identity exploration, and family conflicts to mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem concerns, I am dedicated to helping teens navigate these challenges with confidence and resilience. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and evidence-based techniques that promote emotional growth and healthy coping strategies.

In addition to individual therapy, I also work with families to address communication issues, conflict resolution, and strengthening relationships. I believe that fostering a supportive family environment is essential to helping teens thrive, and I work to empower both adolescents and their families to create lasting, positive changes.

With my background in education and my ongoing training as a therapist, I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where teens and their families can heal, grow, and work toward a brighter future.
